自2021年11月1日起,澳大利亚的公民或永久居民的父母,将被作为“直系亲属”纳入入境旅行豁免范围。
目前,“直系亲属”的定义只包括:
伴侣;
事实婚姻/伴侣;
未成年子女、
法定监护人。
自2021年11月1日起,澳大利亚的成年永久居民或公民,他们的父母将被涵盖进“直系亲属”的范围中。在国际边境仍然关闭的情况下,父母将有资格获得入境旅行豁免,实现成功入境澳大利亚。
虽然在2021年11月1日之后,父母将被自动划入“直系亲属”的类别,但这并不意味着父母将自动获取入境的资格。
因此父母必须先进行旅行豁免的申请,然后由相关工作人员来判定他们是否属于可入境的豁免范畴。同时,在提出旅行豁免申请时,父母需持有有效签证,或正在办理的有效签证申请。
目前,澳大利亚大部分地区,对国际入境的人数仍有限制,且边境仍对其他签证类别的国际游客关闭。因此,我们预计,一旦2021年11月1日开放父母豁免的申请之后,将有大量的旅行豁免申请涌入。
鉴于此,我们强烈建议那些希望利用这项新政策,将父母接回澳大利亚的人们,提前准备好所有的必要文件,以便申请一旦开放,即可及时提交材料。
民政事务总署将于适当的时候公布有关这项额外列入现行旅行豁免类别的更多资料。
