Cherry Au-Yeung

Cherry has a strong passion for criminal law and extensive experience in criminal defence. Before joining the Brightstone criminal team, she completed a double degree in Bachelor of Laws and Forensic Science, majoring in Biology, at the University of Technology.

Her solid academic background in both law and forensic science enables her to navigate the complexities of these fields and seamlessly integrate scientific analysis with legal reasoning, particularly in the application of DNA evidence. Cherry has been actively involved in defending clients in a broad spectrum of criminal cases, including serious offences such as assault, drug-related charges, theft, and fraud. She is skilled at developing strategic defence plans, analysing evidence critically, and advocating effectively on behalf of her clients at all stages of the legal process.
