在 ACT 地区，一旦被定罪，法院通常会自动延长禁驾期限。如果您原本已处于禁驾期，新禁驾时间往往会在原有期限结束后才开始计算，导致无法驾驶的时间大幅增加。
虽然法律上存在有限的抗辩空间，实践中成功难度较大。但是，即使无法成功抗辩，尽早寻求专业法律意见，仍然有机会通过合理的策略，争取不记录定罪、避免进一步禁驾，从而最大程度降低对未来的影响。
