Senior Associate

Wuhao is a Senior Associate with more than a decade of legal and commercial experience across Australia and China. Having worked in Beijing, Shanghai, Sydney and Melbourne, he brings a cross-border perspective to complex disputes, commercial transactions and strategic legal advice.

His practice focuses on commercial and civil litigation, corporate and shareholder disputes, debt recovery and enforcement, insolvency and property disputes. Wuhao has appeared in the Magistrates Court, County Court, Supreme Court of Victoria and the Supreme Court of New South Wales, in matters including terminating a winding-up to preserve an operating entity, a Supreme Court dispute involving a shareholder of an ASX-listed company, and complex multi-party litigation on behalf of investors. He manages claims through pleadings, discovery, mediation and trial, and negotiates outcomes for clients.

Before practising in Australia, Wuhao worked as a lawyer in China, acting for major financial institutions including Bank of China, China Construction Bank and China Everbright Bank. He also has experience in commercial leasing, secured lending, business acquisitions, trusts, shareholder agreements and Australia–China distribution arrangements. This combined litigation and transactional background allows him to assess not only whether a legal claim is available, but whether the proposed strategy is commercially practical and capable of producing a meaningful result.

Wuhao Wang Melbourne Lawyer

" Plan before acting. Weigh the benefit before entering the contest. Litigation is a strategic tool, not an end in itself. The goal is to identify the client's real objective, assess the evidence, costs, risks and enforcement prospects, and determine the most effective path forward."
