Associate

Since admission, Stella has practised almost exclusively in family law, gaining experience across boutique family law firms and local full-service firms. Her practice covers the full spectrum of family law matters, including property settlements, parenting arrangements and child support disputes. Stella also volunteers as a solicitor at Marrickville Legal Centre.

A skilled negotiator, Stella has a strong track record in pre-action negotiations, having guided clients to resolution in complex financial disputes involving substantial asset pools, allegations of wastage and family violence. Her approach prioritises practical, cost-effective outcomes — helping clients avoid unnecessary litigation wherever possible.

Stella also assists clients in formalising their arrangements through carefully drafted agreements. This includes Binding Financial Agreements, Parenting Plans and Child Support Agreements — providing clients with clarity and certainty at what is often a difficult time.

“ Family law matters are rarely straightforward, but my goal is always the same: to cut through the complexity and deliver outcomes that make a real difference to my clients' lives.”

When matters proceed to Court, Stella is a committed and capable advocate. She has represented clients in high-conflict parenting cases involving serious issues such as family violence, substance abuse, mental health concerns and interstate relocation. In property matters, her litigation experience includes forum disputes, contested de facto relationships, assets and liabilities held overseas, and cases requiring careful consideration of significant initial contributions, gifts and loans from family members.
