Elaine Tao is a bilingual legal professional with practical experience in both Australia and China. Her areas of practice include civil and commercial law, international insolvency, capital markets, and immigration. She has been involved in cross-jurisdictional legal matters, offering support in complex regulatory environments and dispute resolution.
At Brightstone Legal, Elaine has assisted lawyers with visa applications and provided legal advice on partner, tourist, and skilled migration matters. She has conducted legal research on protection visas and employer sponsorship compliance, and supported litigation and commercial law matters, including contract drafting, negotiation, and pre-litigation preparation. She works closely with clients to ensure effective communication and representation.
In China, Elaine interned at Allbright Law Offices, contributing to IPO transactions for companies listing on the SIX Swiss Exchange and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Her responsibilities included preparing key legal documents and drafting memoranda on employee share option plans. She also supported trademark dispute litigation. At CITIC Securities, Elaine was involved in wealth management projects, aligning investment strategies with client goals.
